Established in 2019 by owner Richard Ockelford, SCP now employs a small team of highly skilled and dedicated metal polishers with over 30 years of experience between them.

Caterham Race Exhaust
A short video illustrating the various stages required to attain a high mirror finish, demonstrated here on a stainless steel Caterham 7 exhaust system. The footage shows the stainless steel tube is heavily tarnished with heat scale, colour, scratches, dings and tar deposits. What's your turn around time for polishing?
What condition do the parts need to be in?
Can I send my parts by post?
Yes. Please use a tracked delivery service and send parts with a cover letter including your contact details. We will confirm receipt once the parts arrive and arrange delivery back to you by DHL.
Can you polish Chrome?
Chrome plating is very thin and excessive polishing will remove it. In most cases it is necessary to strip, polish and re-chrome parts in order to get them looking their best. This is a service we can arrange for you in conjunction with our platers.
Do you polish Alloy Wheels?
We will consider polishing alloy wheels if we feel our methods are suitable for the type of wheel. Simple designs and just polishing wheel rims / lips are fine but for more complicated wheels with spokes then a specialist wheel polishing company is the way to go.
