SCP offer all manually created finishes including traditional “dull” polish, satin brushed, bright, commercial mirror and super mirror along with specific Ra finishing.

What is Metal Polishing?

Metal polishing is where engineering meets art, it’s the process of refining the roughness of a metal surface using a series of abrasives. In short, the smoother the metal surface the more reflective it will be. Metals such as stainless steel and brass can be polished to a crystal clear mirror finish. The process is labour intensive and takes a lot of time, skill and experience. At SCP we appreciate that different parts will have different finishing requirements therefore we offer a range of finishes from the budget friendly “satin” & “bright” polish to our standard “commercial mirror” right up to “super mirror”. This ensures all our customers are satisfied with the results while keeping within budget.

Our Workshop

Our metal polishing workshop is fully equipped with a range of both traditional and modern polishing machines & tools along with surface analysis, ultrasonic cleaning and light fabrication equipment. For mass finishing and deburring we also have a large vibratory trough capable of processing hundreds of small parts at a time.

2) Delivery

Drop your parts into the workshop or we can arrange transport by our own

van or by DHL. Prices and lead times will then be confirmed.

3) Processing

Your parts will be finished quickly and efficiently by our team of expert

metal polishers then inspected, cleaned and protected for transport.

4) Payments & Delivery

Payment is due prior to collection, we accept debit /credit cards, cash or bacs. For items being shipped by DHL you may request a photo before making payment.
